  I have stayed at this hotel before and had good experiences. This time, upon entering my room, the A/C was not operational and the room had a heavy odor of mold. Also, I discovered the safety chain on the door to be missing. The main customer support for Hilton stated it is policy for all Hilton hotels to have this on the door, but there was nothing they could do for me. The front desk said the hotel was booked solid and the only rooms available are smoking rooms. Or, I could have a free breakfast. No thanks. Unacceptable. At least the A/C was fixed and the dust clogged filter was replaced, although that did not fix the mold issue. Hopefully these are isolated issues.

  Room smelled faintly of cigarettes, I wasn't offered an option of non smoking. Pillows were fluffy at first but quickly flattened out. My advice? Bring your own pillow and some air freshener, otherwise it was nice no other issues.

  I am so frustrated with this property. I had 2 rooms for 1 night and one of the rooms smelled like mold or old sitting water. We didn't complain since it was just 1 night and didn't plan on being in the hotel long any way. The annoyance has come from multiple charges that don't make any sense. I was charged the full room rate at booking for both rooms 4 days before my arrival which is perfectly fine. The day after I check out I get multiple pending charges totaling over $100. I was told that they where not holding money it was my bank but the charges did not appear until after check out. My bank says the opposite. I wait a week the funds still have not been returned, I called my bank and was told again they do not hold funds after they have been released and the property is holding the funds. I call the property and am told they are not holding the funds the bank is. I ask what the charges where for initially and I am told all 6 charges are authorization holds but they weren't deducted from my acct until after check out. I could not get a clear understanding of what an authorization charge meant and why if the funds where charged for the room 4 days in advance and is already paid for why after I check out they need 6 authorization fees for money they have already received. I got another unclear answer. I called my bank again spoke to someone different that assured me that once funds are released they do not hold them for any period of time and they can not add money back to my acct because the hotel is still holding it. It was suggested to give them an additional 5 days and if the money is not released then it will be escalated to fraud. In all the properties I have stayed, in different states I have never had this issue before and I wish they would give this information up front because I would have just stayed somewhere else.
