  Not too bad for BBQ. I'm not big on barbecue sauce (a little on the ketchup side) but this wasn't bad.
  My boyfriend had the "Ted's Special" which comes with 3 different types of meat and 2 sides. He said the beans were very sweet (they looked goopy to me) and the corn wasn't good. He thought the pulled pork was a little dry but that the brisket and sausage link were good. I had the beef/link combo which comes with 2 meats and 2 sides. The meat was delicious! I also had the garlic mashed potatoes and the slaw. They aren't something I would write home about. Over all, stick with the meats, ask for extra sauce and try to avoid the sides. (If you like slaw, choose that... It was the best out of the 4 we had).

  Not a fancy place but who cares with food this good?
  
  It is worth the drive from anywhere in the NOLA area!
  
  Our server was super friendly and attentive! When we told her it was our first time in and she made us feel like regulars and filled us in on how everything short of the potato salad is made IN HOUSE!
  
  I had the “Monday night smoked hamburger special” that was delicious!! The burger patty is smoked along with all the other meats and the smoke flavor in the burger was amazing.
  
  Hint: Ted, go ahead make it a regular menu item! It merits it’s own spot!!
  (It really is a great burger!!)
  
  My husband had the Ted’s Special w/brisket, pulled pork and ribs all of it ~~melt in your mouth~~ AWESOME!
  
  Baked beans have both pulled pork and brisket in them making another winner!
  
  The BBQ sauce…perfect mix of tang and sweet…the tang is stronger than the sweet! If you are a fan of tangy vinegar based BBQ sauce you will LOVE the sauce. It’s darn good for dipping your fries in!!
  
  We travel a lot due to work and often finding good BBQ takes some work and we are glad we found Ted’s Smokehouse. I see a lot of take out from Ted’s in our future!!
